Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS

A $1 million pledge to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS

As the first-ever presenting sponsor of Broadway Bets, Thomas S. Perakos has made a leadership commitment of more than $1 million to fund wellness, health care, mental health support and emergency assistance for the Broadway community.

St. George Greek Orthodox Church, New Britain

A gift of faith, family and community

In loving memory of his brother Peter, his mother Urania and his father Steven, Mr. Perakos made a substantial donation that eliminated the church's remaining loan on its Grove Hill Street property. His gift also fully funded the feasibility study for a planned residence of 15 apartments where parishioners aged 55 and older can remain closely connected to the life of their church.
