Championing the performing arts and health & wellness for all (and all dogs lives matter)
The Perakos Family Cares Foundation envisions a world where all people have access to a variety of quality educational and cultural opportunities, and where animals are safe and valued. The Foundation strives to ensure that all living beings have the resources they need to overcome obstacles to health, wellness and happiness.
Championing the productions, institutions and people who make the theater, on Broadway, in the West End and beyond.
Because all animals deserve to be treated with kindness, love and respect.
Transformative gifts to schools and organizations where the next generation can achieve their dreams and live life to their fullest, happiest and healthiest potential.

A performing arts center for the next generation
At his alma mater, The Frederick Gunn School, Mr. Perakos built the Thomas S. Perakos Arts & Community Center, the creative heart of campus and home to theater, music and community gatherings.
A new Health & Wellness Center
Mr. Perakos' support of The Frederick Gunn School continues with a new campus health and wellness facility, extending the foundation's health-and-wellness mission to the next generation of students.

A $1 million pledge to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
As the first-ever presenting sponsor of Broadway Bets, Thomas S. Perakos has made a leadership commitment of more than $1 million to fund wellness, health care, mental health support and emergency assistance for the Broadway community.
A gift of faith, family and community
In loving memory of his brother Peter, his mother Urania and his father Steven, Mr. Perakos made a substantial donation that eliminated the church's remaining loan on its Grove Hill Street property. His gift also fully funded the feasibility study for a planned residence of 15 apartments where parishioners aged 55 and older can remain closely connected to the life of their church.
